Settings

View → Settings opens the Settings dialog. Its sidebar selects one section: Themes, License, Encryption, Backup, Shortcuts, and MCP server. Each section is described in its own topic; this topic is the map.

Open Settings

• View → Settings opens the dialog on Themes.
• Help → License, the toolbar’s Upgrade to Pro control, and an upgrade prompt from a gated action open the dialog directly on the License section.
• Settings is also a menu item under View.

The sections

• Themes: choose Dark, Black, Light, or Auto, and pick an accent colour. See the Themes and accents topic.
• License: your tier, the key you activated, and the included capabilities; enter or replace a licence key here. See the Licensing topic.
• Encryption: set, change, or clear the phrase that encrypts connections at rest, and lock or unlock the session. See the Encryption and backup topic.
• Backup: the app data folder path and the folder-backup control. See the Encryption and backup topic.
• Shortcuts: remap the run, comment, and uncomment chords. See the Shortcuts topic.
• MCP server: enable the local server, choose its port and which scripts an agent may read, toggle each tool, and copy an agent-config snippet. See the MCP server topic.

Every setting is applied immediately and remembered across restarts.

Where settings are stored

Settings live under the app data folder (shown in the Backup section). Nothing in Settings requires a restart: a theme, an accent, a shortcut, or a tool toggle takes effect while the dialog is open.
